‘They’re not getting trusts’

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have no plans to leave their wealth to their children, and will instead donate it to charity.

Despite having a combined estimated net worth of $275m (Kutcher $200m, Kunis $75m), the pair don’t seem to have any plans to leave it to their children.

The celebrity couple have two children together, nine-year-old daughter Wyatt Isabell and seven-year-old son Dimitri.

But if either of them had already set their eyes on a bit of their parents’ money coming their way when they’re older, they can probably think again.

Back in 2018, Kutcher appeared on an episode of Dax Shepard’s podcast Armchair Expert. He told the host that neither of their kids will behaving a “trust set up for them.”

He said: “If my kids want to start a business, and they have a good business plan, I’ll invest in it. But they’re not getting trusts.”

The actor went on to say that he and Kunis are planning on donating their money “to various” things, including charities.

This isn’t the first time the couple have spoken about how they raise their kids.

In 2017, Kunis revealed her and her husband don’t give their children presents at Christmas.

She told ETOnline: “So far, our tradition is no presents for the kids.

“We’re instituting it this year because when the kids are one, it doesn’t really matter.

“Last year when we celebrated Christmas, Wyatt was two and it was too much. We didn’t give her anything – it was the grandparents.

“The kid no longer appreciates the one gift. They don’t even know what they’re expecting; they’re just expecting stuff.”

The parents are determined to make sure their children are brought up in as normal an environment as possible and don’t grow up being spoilt or entitled.

Kunis said: “We’re not gonna raise a**holes. There’s enough a**holes in this world!”
