This is apparently the most stressful time of day for parents

Being a parent comes with all kinds of sources of stress.

But some new research has found there is one time of day that is particularly more stressful than the others for mums and dads - and it's not what we expected. It turns out that it isn't bath time or bedtime; or even meal time that causes parents the most stress: it is the morning school run. According to GoodToKNow, 80 per cent of parents find the school run so stressful that they are not able to concentrate on driving. The research, conducted by car insurance company MORE TH>N, also found that one in ten parents have even hit another car due to the stresses the morning school run brings. A total of 33 per cent of parents find the school run to be the most stressful part of their day - and 26 per cent of parents admit they find it just as stressful as buying a house (if not more so). Almost half of parents (42 per cent) confessed that the morning is a chaotic time of day because they are usually rushing to leave - with the same number saying that sibling squabbles are the source of their stress. And 41 per cent of parents attribute their stress in the mornings to the traffic.
