Jessica Simpson faces harsh criticism for this picture of her son

The mum-of-two’s latest post hasn’t gone down well.

When you’re a parent in the public eye, you almost expect people to give you’re their two cents, even when it’s not wanted. And some famous parents experience that more than others – Jessica Simpson is one of those parents. The singer has faced the firing squad online numerous times, and this week is no different. Jessica took to Instagram this week to share a short video of her four-year-old son Ace playing in the pool with a broken arm. However, the video also showed her husband Eric Johnson throwing the boy into the air and landing back in the pool and some people are complaining about it.

“A broken bone doesn’t hold this kiddo down,” read the caption on the post.

People in the comments section seem to disagree with many calling the incident “irresponsible”.

“Love you, Jess, but why throw a kid with a cast on? Even in water,” read one comment. “This probably isn’t the best choice,” wrote another.

However, many of Jessica's fans came to her defence, saying that the video was "innocent". We're sure this won't be the last time the star will receive such comments.
