Hilary Duff praises boyfriend Matthew Koma for his parenting skills

The mum of two says Matthew is an excellent Dad and very supportive of her.

Hilary Duff has got to be one of our favourite celebrity mums at the moment. She glowed throughout her pregnancy and when she announced she had given birth to her daughter, Banks Violet Bair on 25 October, we were overjoyed. Since giving birth, we've loved watching the adorable pictures Hilary posts of her kids on Instagram. The new addition is Hilary's second child as she has an adorable son from a previous relationship. However, it is her first child with long-term partner Matthew Koma.

The thirty-one-year-old had a home birth and said that Banks has stolen the couple's hearts. In particular, we loved the adorable photo of her six-year-old son, Luca cradling his sister and captioned the picture:

"4 weeks since our special gift arrived! These two are my greatest joy."

Speaking to Cafe Mom, Hilary has opened up about having a blended family. Luckily, Luca is bonding really well with sister, Banks:

"So far, he loves to hold her on his chest and do skin-to-skin! He's really just obsessed with her face. [Luca] loves to touch her head and has a narrative for every face she makes and why."

She also chatted about how Matthew has taken to fatherhood - and so far, so good! Talking to the publication, she said:

"My favorite part has been watching Matthew stare at her. Every noise she makes, every face she makes, he thinks is the most brilliant thing he's seen. He's so complimentary of me and in shock by the demands of a new mom. He's honestly the most helpful, thoughtful and eager to learn papa!"

We're thrilled for them!
