They are reminding families that some of the biggest fire risks can be found inside their own homes.
With Halloween celebrations getting underway, the emergency service has highlighted the dangers associated with bonfires and fireworks.
Speaking to OUTsurance, a Dublin Fire Brigade spokesperson said: "Our Firefighter/Paramedics want to enjoy Halloween as much as you do", while urging the public to "respect all emergency services and council crews".
The warning comes after Dublin Fire Brigade received more than 200 fire-related calls on Halloween night last year, with that figure recorded before 8pm alone.
Bonfires account for a lot of the emergency service's activity, but firefighters have also highlighted a number of everyday items that can pose a serious risk.
Dublin Fire Brigade is reminding the public that bonfires are illegal and can contain dangerous materials, including car tyres, gas cylinders, aerosol cans, oils and plastics.
The smoke produced by these materials can be extremely toxic, particularly for people with existing breathing difficulties.
People are also being urged to keep a safe distance from bonfires, with firefighters warning that if you can feel the heat, you are too close.
Children should never attempt to jump over a bonfire or run through one, while alcohol and other intoxicants should be avoided around fires.
Fireworks are another major concern, with officials reminding the public that they are illegal and can cause serious injuries, including full-thickness burns, amputations, blindness and hearing difficulties.
They can also be extremely distressing for older people, young children and those with sensory sensitivities.
