Mr Price launches cheap Communion dress range from €17.99 – €29.99

Irish retailer Mr Price has launched a range of cheap Communion dresses that are all priced under €30. Adding to its existing range of Communion and Confirmation partyware and accessories, the store announced its desire to provide families with cheaper dress options before Communion season kicks into gear this year. The previously-available products have been re-launched at half their original prices. While Communions – particularly those of little girls – have always been one of the most expensive parts of parenthood for many parents in Ireland, the financial hardships of the pandemic have made it an even more stressful ordeal in recent years. Those looking for a more budget-friendly option can shop the Mr Price dress range, which starts from €17.99 up to just €29.99. It's available at all 60 of their stores nationwide, though those who wish to shop the range are encouraged to do so as soon as possible as it's expected to sell out quickly. Speaking about the line, the retailer's Marketing Director Laura Blighe said: “First Holy Communion is a really special time for families in Ireland but unfortunately it can be costly, that’s why we have reduced our communion dresses to half price. “We wanted to give our customers some options to make the occasion more affordable. “We expect the range to sell out quickly, so we advise getting to your local Mr Price store as soon as possible to avoid disappointment."
