A judge’s early Christmas gesture for a man who was up for jury duty has gone viral for the sweetest reason. Court reporter Sarah-Jane Murphy shared the moving story earlier this week, where it’s quickly gone viral - getting thousands of likes, retweets and comments since it was posted. The adorable exchange between the two took place during jury selection at the Criminal Courts of Justice on Tuesday. It begins when the man, who was up for jury duty, said that he couldn't serve - as he was going to be away at the weekend. And the kind-hearted judge replied:
