Brian Dowling announced the birth of his second child this week
Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian have been busy adapting to life as dads-of-two since their newborn’s arrival this month.
Many parents will agree that having your second child can be quite an overwhelming change, but an incredible one too.
It’s certainly more intense and tiring, but having a new family member is beyond special.
Brian and Arthur have been sharing snippets of their family life since daughter Blake was born, and have even been sharing updates since Blu’s arrival.
The dads have been kept busy with trips to the park and cozy breakfast mornings at home.
Brian recently shared a video of daughter Blake refusing to have a nap, a struggle parents know all too well.
The dad also confirmed that Blu has been happily sleeping since she came home from the hospital.
Their daughter, born via surrogacy, was born on Sunday, June 23rd.
Brian and Arthur confirmed Blu was safely delivered at the National Maternity Hospital.
Brian said his sister Aoife, who was their surrogate, has been incredible, describing her as a “superstar”.
He gushed, “You are a SUPERSTAR & we are, as always, FOREVER GRATEFUL. You stayed so calm, considering it wasn’t exactly the birth plan we had initially hoped for.
“Baby Blu was adamant to arrive on Sunday, the 23rd of June & nothing or no one was going to stop her. Big Sister Blake, you have been activated,” the dad added.
Aoife was also the surrogate for the dads’ first daughter Blake.
